Backrooms Escape 1 is a first-person survival horror game that takes you into a strange basement that holds terrifying secrets that have never been revealed. The pale yellow rooms follow each other, the fluorescent lights flicker and buzz, and the musty carpet smell haunts the sense of smell, all creating a haunting atmosphere.
FIND BOARDS, BUILD LADDERS, AND ESCAPE
Your only mission is to find a way to escape this strange basement. To do this, you need to collect boards scattered throughout the backroom to build a staircase connecting to the outside world. This is not easy. The corridors are so similar that you will get lost after a few minutes. Worse, this basement is inhabited by hideous monsters. They will relentlessly chase you when they see you. They can appear behind turns and suddenly appear when you are off guard.
3 survival tips
- Keep your eyes on the mini-map: Located at the bottom left of the screen, this is one of your most essential tools to survive longer. Use it to avoid getting lost - or ambushed.
- Keep moving: Standing still too long makes it easier for monsters to detect your position. You don’t need to sprint, but maintaining a steady pace helps you keep a safe distance.
- Run the moment you hear something: The terrifying creatures in the backroom are always on the hunt. If you hear a sound - run.
